The Sichuan Provincial Museum The Sichuan Provincial Museum, opened 60 years ago, will be formally closed at April and begin the construction of a new museum. In return for the 60-year-long attention of the Chengdu citizens, it will be open completely free of charge from March 4 to April 1, 2002, the day it closes. Visitors can go and appreciate its excellent exhibits, including Seeking the Origins of Ba & Shu, Contemporary Artists' Top Works Show and works by Liu Xiling, finger artist of the Late Qing Dynasty.
