Charitable Wedding Registries
Maybe you're the couple who feels sick filling out a gift registry (so much stuff!) or maybe you're the guest who's looking for something memorable. Either way, look into a tasteful charitable donation in lieu of a physical gift.
You can support conservation efforts by sponsoring an animal at the local zoo or adopting a polar bear with The World Wildlife Fund ($225 at worldwildlife.org). Or, look locally and support a cause that's important in your community. Either way, do your research with Charity Navigator, which rates non-profits on how responsibly they use donations, before you commit your dollars
