Waiting in the womb

A developing walrus fetus is seen through ultrasound imaging. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California, announced in April that Uquq, a 16-year-old female Pacific walrus, is pregnant and expected to give birth this month. There have only been 11 recorded walrus calves born in a North American zoological facility since 1931.
