Get the ball rolling by asking all your friends if they know any single guys. Being so forward may seem awkward, but at least you can be sure the guys they recommend won't be dirtbags or serial killers. Just saying.

Join a group with a large guy-to-girl ratio, like a runners' club or ping-pong team. Not the sporty type? Volunteer with a non-profit like Big Brothers, Big Sisters that allows you to mentor underprivileged high school students and bond with fellow mentors at fun guy-heavy events like comedy clubs.
