I was having a great afternoon at Yosemite Valley. The light was gorgeous, and it was just for a few minutes that the entire sky turned dark. Anyway, I'm glad I had a chance to capture the beauty of this place.

Photographing the pier and surfers in Huntington Beach, California, one weekend morning, I took a break and sat under the pier. Along comes this surfer, who stood and watched the waves for a few minutes. I snapped a few pictures as he contemplated.
